Elliott Electric Supply is offering to sell two new baseboard units for $7,500 in the U.S. that can heat two to four units in a single week, the company said.
Electric Baseboard is a leading supplier of high-efficiency and energy-saving heaters for the home, office, commercial and industrial environments.
The new units will be available in the fall of 2019.
The company said the units can be installed in a range of areas from a single home to a single building and are designed to last for up to 12 months.
“We know how important it is to keep energy efficient and provide the best possible service for our customers,” said Eric Pang, executive vice president of ESI Supply, in a press release.
“We are excited to offer our customers a choice that is a great value for the money.”
The electric baseboard is also compatible with many of the popular high-end LED lightbulbs.
The products include LED bulbs, CFLs, and LED light strips.
According to ESI, the products have a range between 30,000 to 300,000 hours of use and can be turned on and off at will.
Elliott said the baseboard unit will be compatible with most of the most popular LED light bulbs including the Philips Hue and the Samsung Galaxy S8.
This is just the latest in a long line of innovations in the home and the home appliance market.
In November, ESI announced it would be launching the E.A.I. Lighting Platform, a new line of LED lighting products that aim to replace lighting fixtures and appliances.
Currently, the ESI Lighting Platform is available in Europe, Asia Pacific and the United States.
