NEW YORK — — The electric air pumps used in the electric vehicle (EV) fleet will be used instead of diesel air pumps in electric vehicles that use lithium-ion batteries, the Electric Vehicle Technology Laboratory (ETTL) announced today.
The news was announced at the IEEE International Solid State Circuits Conference (ISSC) in Las Vegas, Nevada.
“Electric vehicle fleet manufacturers need to have the right electrical system for the right battery pack to work,” said John P. Johnson, vice president of electric vehicle technologies for Tesla Motors Inc. (NASDAQ:TSLA).
“But the technology and cost are so competitive now that the only real competition is a much more expensive, but more reliable, diesel engine.
Emissions standards are changing, and EVs are becoming more competitive.
It is time for a new way to connect all the parts.”
The new electric air system will be able to deliver electricity through a series of electrodes placed inside the electric battery.
An electrode is a metal or plastic that is electrically conducting.
The electrical current flowing through the electrode flows through the wires of the battery and into a capacitor that holds the voltage for a time.
This is done using an electrochemical process called electrolysis.
Each electrode will be made of a single element.
An electrolytic process allows for the use of multiple electrode elements that provide a continuous supply of electrical energy.
Electrochemical processes also can provide a more reliable and efficient electric power supply.
For example, the electrolytic reaction can produce a continuous electrical current that can be used for more than just powering the battery.
For example, it can also be used to provide electricity to a light bulb.
It can also provide energy storage in a battery.
An electrical storage system uses a battery that stores the electrical energy that is produced by the electrolysis process.
A battery can store a large amount of electricity when used in an automotive application, because it will be in continuous use for a very long time.
The electrolysis reaction is capable of storing large amounts of energy over a long period of time.
However, the energy stored in a lithium ion battery can be stored in smaller quantities, because lithium ion batteries have a very short battery life.
Because the batteries are rechargeable, they are good for a long time if they are kept in their original form, which is a liquid electrolyte.
But they are very expensive to store, and this is one of the main reasons why EVs are being developed for the mass market.
