In January 2018, a new battery-powered electric garage heaters were installed at the University of Maryland’s College Park campus.
A company called Smart Garage is developing the electric units and will need a license to sell them.
They are supposed to last for 30 years.
But as we learned from a recent article by our own Peter Baker, the batteries are now going out of production, and the company that built them has been in bankruptcy court.
This is bad news for homeowners.
But if you live in an area where there is a lot of electric car use, or where people use electric cars to commute, you should be able to find an affordable electric garage.
Here’s how to get started.
Find an Affordable EV in Your Area Buy an EV at a Car Dealer Buy an affordable EV from a company that sells them online.
If you have to find a car dealer, there are a few companies that can help you with this.
Most car dealerships will offer an online list of authorized dealerships.
Many will have listings on their website, but if you need to call to make a purchase, you’ll probably need to go to a store.
If not, there is one option that may be the easiest.
A car dealership may be able provide you with a free quote on an EV from an authorized dealer.
But that may not always be the case.
If it is, you may have to call the dealership to verify that it is an authorized dealership. Learn More
